The CURUPIRA Project

Throughout the CURUPIRA project, TAYGRA has launched the campaign of reforestation of Amazonia, giving a small wages complement 25 years long to small agricultors in Amazonia to convert their pastes into tree plantation. We want to make up the minds & to demonstrate that tree plantation is much more sustainable for all in Amazonia, in front of any other kind of agriculture. The aim with time is to invert wild deforestation & creation of pastes to regenerate new forests that will be scientifically controled. We will preservate the rainforest in offering another source of profit for the people that live there, so they won't opt for bad choices like deforestation & will retain Carbon thanks to theur activity.
